Tagging along with Matt’s wading boot thread. I checked in with Smith on a pair of sunglasses that recently started to come apart. They have been my most-used pair since around 2020. I read the warranty info on the site and started by sending an email asking about options for repairs. They responded within 12 hours suggesting I submit a warranty claim form. The claim relies on providing photos of the issue. Easy peasy. I submitted my claim and within hours they approved it and sent me a voucher code to cover the estimated original cost of the glasses. I say estimated because I didn’t have documentation so they asked for date and location of the purchase and gave me a fair amount to put towards a new pair. I had to send a photo documenting destruction of my original pair.
