Just that spot located inside the bridge. Boats troll in a tight circle inside the entrance to Drano trying to pick off new fish as they arrive and haven't yet been spooked by all the boat traffic. I fished with a guide there one time to check it out. Boats were spaced barely a boat length apart as they trolled around in that circle. I think all those boats going in a circle creates a current kinda' like a toilet being flushed.
On the lower Columbia there is a very specific etiquette regarding trolling and anchor fishing. There are "usual and accustomed" anchor and trolling locations. And if you anchor in a trolling lane, you will have trollers going by you just barely far enough away to avoid tangling lines. It's not that they care about the anchored fisherman. They just don't want to waste their time with untangling fishing lines.I am thinking of starting a new fly club... "Low hol'in and Troll'in Club"...
What about this riddle, I or you are the first person on the lake, pick a spot to anchor up and fish do I have to move if you want to troll where I am fishing? Or do I need to pull anchor and move? Or I have anchored and moved several times now and catching well and your having a slow day so I need to move so you might catch some fish?
What about this rule... you are trolling or anchored in a spot or area and haven't caught anything after 15-25 minutes and I was lighting them up in this spot yesterday, should you have to give the spot up so I can catch some fish, some your probably fishing it wrong?

Been there done that! I deck hands for a friend and we have been rodtip close, with "unfamiliar" guys getting mad, and usually other guy are screaming at them!
All I fish are small trout lakes. I have been rammed by flyfishers in inflatables and have rammed inflatables and the shore when trolling backwards (the best way to troll in a Hobie kayak).
