Zelensky does talk a great game... from his bunker. Just like Putin. Meanwhile, innocent Russian kids and Ukrainian citizens of all ages are killing each other in the streets... and none of them are sure why. What's wrong with this picture?

My last post was deleted as a "personal attack" on what this person said. So I'm just going to repost this person's ridiculous comment for all to absorb, and let it ride.

So if Zelensky is "just like Putin", tell me how many times Ukraine has invaded Russia? How many millions of Russians has a Ukrainian leader starved and murdered? Go ahead, take as much time as you need....I'll wait.

And I'll say it again. Ukraine is under attack. From Putin. Zelensky is literally the OPPOSITE of Putin. He's not in his bunker hiding like Hitler. He's in constant communication with other world leaders, his countrymen, everyone necessary, while under great personal risk. If he's captured, he's going to be killed. Putin has marked him for death. His family too..

Every Ukrainian knows exactly why they're killing Russian soldiers. They're being invaded. If they lose, they lose their country. To Russia. AGAIN. They lose their freedom, their culture, their way of life.....everything.

I hope you guys didn't pull Cody's post because he tried to insult me. I'm nowhere near sensitive enough to give a shit what he or anyone else thinks.

I'm not really sure why I felt it was necessary to say what I said. For sure, Putin is the aggressor and ultimate bad guy here. I guess I take issue with Zelensky, a known, corrupt scumbag, suddenly getting some moral, heroic high ground for talking a bunch of shit from the safety of a bunker. That's all.

War is fucked. Let's at least be good to each other....

You just can't stop can you? Nobody said Zelensky was a choirboy. He's a politician. Most of them have some corrupt skeletons in their closets. Our own politicians aren't exactly "pure of heart" either. Ukraine is also not perfect. No country is. But his country is on the verge of being annihilated by Putin and he's stepping up in a way nobody expected nor predicted. To rip him as a "corrupt scumbag" while he's literally fighting for his life and for the future of his country, and compare him as the equivalent of Putin?

Wow. Just wow.

I completely agree with all of that, and I stand with Ukraine... but Zelensky is still a loudmouth propagandist until we see him take to the streets with a Go-Pro strapped to him.

This was clearly not the right time to make this point. I hate fucking Putin and hope he meets a very nasty end, very soon... ideally at the hands of his own people. I imagine I'll find some agreement there....

You'll likely see Zelensky dragged out and executed in the streets. And then his whole family. Someone else will be filming it. Probably not with a Go-Pro.

Agreed! I keep coming back to learn something new, add some content so others can learn. And of course some pics and cartoons that are funny as hell. Levity is welcome during these times.

I‘m curious and trying to understand why you choose to focus on whatever negatives you have read about with Zelensky with your “Just like Putin comment. Are you just trying to stir something up? Please don’t. I really hope that this thread is not locked down.

Those Russian "kids" have a choice.. I have no sympathy for them. The situation may be sad but it's their choice. You can always drop your AK and walk back to Russia.. don't do that it's all on you.
