About time to see some Ukrainian food recipes, don't you think?

Sometimes I add sautéed mushrooms
Use the chicken fat, not butter or margarine.
;)

"The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride," Volodymyr Zelensky.

I seriously hope this one line goes down in history as one of the great inspiring lines of the century, a Churchillian "we shall fight them on the beaches..." sort of line.
Because i don’t know much about Ukraine and the history with Russia, I’ve been reading here. I’ve also been reading the Washington Post for articles about Zelensky and the war. What a fine example of a leader this man is! I can’t help but feel that his courage and leadership will help us as a country as we elect our own leaders.

I didn’t realize that aside from being a comedian and actor (Ha! I used to want Al Franken to run for President), Zelensky also has a law degree. Nor did i know that HE was the president who refused to cave in to Trump with info on the Biden men in exchange for military aid. I am so afraid he will get killed. I’m worried for his family and young children. The Ukraine citizens fighting for their country is very humbling (and sad) to me.

Here is an opinion piece from a Ukraine journalist from yesterday.

Robis concerned about emojis.
Please consider his point of view.

I saw that but I most often use the crying laughing emoji to make fun of myself… as in yesterday morning I was still so tired while making coffee that I accidentally poured my half n half INSIDE the aeropress instead of my cup and then I couldn’t get the plunger to go down. :ROFLMAO:

Our coffee maker died this morning, so I've got more important things to worry about than emojis.
We all know coffee is a very important thing...
Especially Monday morning.
I ask for your understanding here...
🤣🤣🤣

Jeez. Really?

Indeed!

I have several spare Keurig coffee makers in basement storage to deal with such a tragedy.

Cue up your environmental outrage regarding my use of K-cups, and coffee dilettantes should feel free to give me a good scolding about my apparent coffee taste deficiencies. 😁

Thankfully FEMA updated the emergency procedure for nuclear fallout to include Masks and Social Distancing. My emergency kit was lacking a properly fitting KN95 so I’ll be sure to add that and some hand sanitizer ASAP. Would hate to have my shelter become a super spreader event.
I think hand sanitizer is a good addition to any emergency kit. Never know when you might be dealing with blood or other bodily fluids.

@Mossback Ha. Definitely the death of the coffee maker outranks emoji usage! Recently i woke up one morning to find I had run out of half n half AND i didn’t have any creamer substitute for my coffe, not even Coffeemate. It was a terrible start to my day!

Ha. I’ve also noticed that I’ve sometimes focused on my First World problems during turbulent times. I think it’s maybe due to feeling like when things are out of control, i feel the need to focus on the little things i can.

Good Lord Krusty...
Oh the humanity.

Ours was a Mr Coffee...
Tee up the trailer park jokes, feel free to use whatever emojis you want to...
Guarantee it won't add to the already questionable start to my day.

Also indisputable is the fact that insufficient preparation and safety measures can lead directly to developing bone spurs and we all know how devastating and crippling they can be.

Jojo mentioned the death of the coffee maker… that would be me. That would suck ultimately.
