If I die before they make it to the series, my service will ask attending members to bring their favorite M’s memorabilia. All items will be gathered into a bin and lit on fire without warning.

And there you go, a team wins four series, thirteen games and the home town fans get to witness only two of those wins and only one of them, a second-rounder, a series win, out of four. Unbelievable.
 
Surprised the 2020 one was so low. What else were people doing? I remember being so starved for sports that I ended up watching a bunch of regular season games that year! Never before and never since.
 
I read where e-sports is more popular amongst younger viewers than baseball...
E-sports is watching other folks play video games.
Myself, I prefer paint drying to either of those.

My daughter's boyfriend goes to watch parties with his buddies for e-sports. Pay-for-View ones too... SMFH!
 
The number of games in a series affects viewer numbers. Rangers took it in 5 (4-1). This year had very few tight MLB playoff series.
 
I watched a baseball game a while back...think it was 1995...no wait.
I listened to one back then...that was it.
Good game as I recall
Was up on Rock Creek in the Fall, had to hold the antenna with one hand and the post with the other. It was hard to drink my wine doing that, but I managed.
Edgar got a double, Griffey scored and I think there's a video of it online...maybe I will try and find it and post it up.
I remember because it was right after OJ got convicted, and that was all over the news along with the Mariners making the playoffs...both super newsworthy, almost unbelievable events happening at the same time.
Last time I actually watched a baseball game on a TV was long before that, but it was in color and not in black and white.
But I have been to the Kingdome, and to Safeco.
Saw baseball...not very good baseball, but baseball nonetheless.
Of course, I left early to beat traffic.
The Mariners lost of course...
