Rain

I did see a few drops on my windshield this morning.

Such a tease.
 
I could smell it about 4:00 when I let the dog out, but the street was hardly wet. A few sprinkles here. Can't decide whether to go see how the lake fish or the stream fish are reacting to the clouds, now that chores are done.
 
Last two weeks of July-1st 2 weeks of Aug (includes Seafair weekend) historically gets NO rain so this is kind of notable. Here's the NOAA 5-day forecast.

Given the percentages and predicted accumulation the graphics are wishful thinking.
Accumulation in the low hundredths but a little bump in a local stream level.

I want to scout some new (to me) access early next week
 
It was nice to hear the rain hitting the roof and coming down the gutters last night.
I’ve ordered more….. 😂

This is all fake newz...there is no rain and if there is it isn't much, and if it did rain it wasn't rain, but drizzle, and if it did drizzle, there was no measurable precip so it is just like it didn't ever happen at all, so there is no rain.
Like I said, fake newz.

Rain again last night. Starting to grow webs between my toes. In looking ten days forward, the webs will disappear with the mid to high 90's coming back.
 
Not rain…..😡
Not as bad for us westsiders as south and east, but it will still still suck.
Hopefully this is the last big heatwave of the summer.
