No rain in the foreseeable future, but it was 53 degrees this morning and 99+ in the afternoon in the Tri Cities. We do early morning activities with the granddaughters and then retreat to the air conditioned basement until swim lessons in the afternoon.

I'm wondering if someone got thrown into Mt St Helens to get this on the historically driest day of the year?
Same result in Puyallup, but not enough to register in the rain gauge yet.

I moved 3 yards of sand and gravel this morning and was VERY thankful for the 63 degree mist. Barely enough to wet the sidewalk, but enough to keep me comfortable through the labor.
Kind of petered out here but looks like it might start again.
Hell, just the clouds, wind and cooler temps are enough to make me happy.
