GSI Microlite or Zojirushi thermos-type bottle. Both will keep beverages hot or cold for hours and will never ever spill.

As usual, Freestone is on it.

I've tried most everything as I have a longish commute and can't deal with the morning w/o my coffee. The Zojirushi is head and shoulders above the competition. Morning coffee is still warm after lunch, never spills and the whole thing can be dissembled for cleaning or replacement of parts. Fits into car cupholders.

The only downside is the cost.

The mug on the left is what I use at work when I'm daydreaming about fishing. I use the Thermos when I go fishing and escape work.

The Thermos is very portable and keeps the coffee warm for a long time. However, I never give it a chance to cool off. I wish it had a little more capacity, but then I'd give up some portability.
