Your Favorite To-Go Coffee Mug?

20 oz holds plenty of tasty chai tea.
Double wall ss and positive closure keeps my tea hot for 4 hrs of winter beach fishing (or ice tea cold in summer).
The shape of the lid avoids scalding surprises.
The inward taper near the top helps keep it secure in my sling pack when I cinch up the water bottle pocket bungie.
The Candy Apple makes it easy to see when I'm policing up after a snack, and it matches my car 😉.

The black one is a Starbucks mug I have used for years for driving. It was the best of the 4 travel mugs I had.
The mug on the right is about 42 years old, a gift from my niece back then.

GSI Microlite or Zojirushi thermos-type bottle. Both will keep beverages hot or cold for hours and will never ever spill.

As usual, Freestone is on it.

I've tried most everything as I have a longish commute and can't deal with the morning w/o my coffee. The Zojirushi is head and shoulders above the competition. Morning coffee is still warm after lunch, never spills and the whole thing can be dissembled for cleaning or replacement of parts. Fits into car cupholders.

The only downside is the cost.

The mug on the left is what I use at work when I'm daydreaming about fishing. I use the Thermos when I go fishing and escape work.

The Thermos is very portable and keeps the coffee warm for a long time. However, I never give it a chance to cool off. I wish it had a little more capacity, but then I'd give up some portability.

Clearly struck a nerve around here, 50+ posts and going strong. I suppose a rather personal, yet safe, thing to share about ourselves. 1995 Meridian Haggen Sbux, daily use for 27 yrs and counting. The old SB mugs and thermoses are incredible.
