Yeti Water Bottles

I've made fun of Yeti for years, and do still think their rotomolded coolers are something that can be had from other brands for less money and get just as good of performance... but everything I've bought from them, including multiple water bottles, soft coolers, etc have all been very worth it. You'd think something as simple as a water bottle is "meh, cheap if fine. It's just a water holder"... but I take my water bottles everywhere. A nice one is worth spending the money on.
 
I actually don't own any of their coolers either for the same reasons, other brands seem to do as good a job for less, but our household is starting to have a decent collection of Yeti mugs, water bottles and now one of their french presses (bought with REI dividends, I mean who spends $100 on one of these?)
 
I have a Yeti Rambler that I’ve had for about 10 years now and have been happy with it.
 
Honestly, I wasn’t sure about Yeti at first, but their water bottles are pretty impressive. They really keep your drink the right temp for hours, and after using one for a while, I get why people swear by them. Coolers are a bit much for me, but their bottles and mugs? Definitely worth it.
 
I have a couple Ozark Trail tumblers going on probably 10 years that cost less than $10. I was gifted a Yeti tumbler recently and it doesn't do anything better than the Ozark Trail but it did come with a Yeti sticker to put on my truck.

My wife only uses Yeti tumblers everyday now. Before a recent anniversary/birthday, she would use anything available. I bought her some Yeti tumblers for those occasions. She remarked they are expensive but would try them. They are worth the money. She loves them and has since bought more too.

After 43 years of marriage, I finally got the right gift for her. Will wonders never cease...
 
Bought a Wazzu inscribed yeti tumbler 10 years ago. Going strong. Love the fact I can take hot tea in the am and sip on it before work, leave it in the car half full and at lunch a few hours later break out a sandwich and have hot tea with it.

Thing works double with ice…. Ice
Water in the am and later in the day after sitting in a car with 85° degree day the ice still remains and water chilly cold 👍
 
Have the 35 oz Rambler tumbler, had it custom made a while back. Raspberry on bottom and ombre to deep purple on top over stainless steel. Gotta hand wash! Porter2 is right about the ice!

I wouldn't say that's what makes the Yeti water bottles worth it. The ergonomics/lid designs, etc are what set them apart. I have bottles, insulated and not, from Kleen Canteen, Hydroflask, Stanley and Yeti. The Yeti bottles are my go-tos every time.
 
Generally agree with most of the sentiments but will say that I got a yeti cooler really early on, like 2009 or 2010 (weren’t as many options then) cause I wanted it as a seat for my raft and it’s still going strong today! Takes more effort than other coolers but taking more abuse too. Even used ilit as a backup support to my jack in a weird spot to change a trailer tire. Tho nowadays I likely wouldn’t buy another one of their hard coolers.

Had a really nice Yeti water bottle from my days with Orvis (Orvis badged even), sadly left if at Yamsi Ranch a couple of years ago. Yamsi Ranch, if you're listening I really like that water bottle if it's still lying around, would love to get it back.....
