Yellowstone has a lot of otters. Over the years I've seen pods of adults, massive boars and full families of otters with loads of pups scouring the rivers in YNP. The Madison, Gibbon and Firehole have their fair share as does the Yellowstone and its tribs. Once sighted patrolling the river, you probably won't catch many fish around that spot. Don't fall prey to Big Otter.

Always be sure to distinguish the totes adorbs North American River Otter from the dastardly, nefarious, parking-lot-inducing, must-be-controlled and should-be-shot-on-sight Sea Otter.
