Wanted to get out of the rain and gloomy day!

Finally had a day with out appointments so headed over the pass. The corn dog spot is closed on Wednesday so stopped at Dru Bru and found some awesome food!

Are Bullfrog atm and fished a streamer for a bit and talked with some great people!

No fish yet, but the water isn't to bad yet! Cheers!

That’s a happy Chessy! Colder the better.
Its warmer over here today! Gas was actually more expensive over here though, unless it went up at Costco in the past few days, which it probably did.

If this is Safeway in Cle elum, Its not the eastside anymore :( Suburb of Seattle now days.

Everything West of the Columbia river is now considered Western washington.... A suburb of Seattle.

Yes it is the Safeway in Cle Elum. Up until yesterday it was always cheaper than gas on the Westside. Although prices have been moving up quite fast so it could still be cheaper. I had filled up on Monday so who.knows.

Guys.... No political BS.... My quote for gas wasn't meant for political reasons. I live on the Eastside and travel back to the westside i due however stop in Issaquah and notice a huge difference from Yak-Issaquah prices.... All i was saying is that Cle Elum is priced as the Westside. Keep the politacal bull shit out of this. I don't want this site ruined like some other website i used to visit.

Side note filled on the reservation yesterday 4.24

I always stop at Thorpe, their corn dogs are decent, and the diesel (my Jeep is a diesel) is sometimes $1 cheaper than here in Federal Way.

How does talk about the price of gas equate to "political BS?" For nearly all of us, going fishing means driving somewhere, and whether that means driving a Prius or an F-350 diesel, it's gonna take some fuel. And the cost of fuel is relevant to fishing. Now alleging that Cle Elum is a suburb of Seattle might be more political leaning, but that's another story.

Way more hookers there than the Cle Elum Safeway...
Shhh, don't tell my secrets!!

So to wrap this up the water clarity was decent for the upper Yak! At least yesterday and the sun came out in the evening. The temperature was 59!

The teanaway was high and puking chocolate milk and was like that althroughout the canyon! It was nice though and I chatted with a few nice people while I hung out there!

And the reservoir was nice and full along I90!

The Snoqualmie river was high, I take the back roads up to North Bend before I get on I90 and water is already in some of the fields and a few roads were closed, nothing major yet! But the river should crest sometime this weekend.

The drive back sucked, it was dark, rainy and miserable! I almost stayed at Umptanam and will stay somewhere next time, but I had an early appointment this morning. I am glad I went despite not catching anything!

Cheers!
