So the morning started out fairly simple, drive up to a local lake, throw the water master in and start fishing. The fun part was not 50 feet from the put in I nailed this pig.

Then it got weird. I looked back at the launch where my truck was, and I saw something in the water. At first, I really couldn’t make out what it was, but all of a sudden it dawned on me. It’s a deer. Sure enough there was a Whitetail doe swimming across the lake. Why? I have no idea, sadly I didn’t take any pictures only video. And as far as I can tell, I can’t put video on this site but take my word for it. It happened.
The morning continued with a couple more big fish to the net and a few that got away too soon. But all in all, it was a fun morning, even if it was 34° when I put in.
