World Record (?) SMB in Lake Sammamish

Possible record SMB caught by a local guide who says he’s caught the same fish twice previously! And a fly caught fish as well. For those who don’t fish SMB, a 20”er is considered a trophy, this fish was well over that. Didn’t see any girth dimensions but it looks like a chunk.
I leave Monday morning for a flight to Wisconsin where I’ll be hosted by Brad Bohen, a Musky guide and fly guru who claims topwater SMB as a favorite; I’m jumping out of my skin in anticipation….

Heck of a fish and the guy certainly appears to know what he is doing but catching the same fish 3 times off the same spawning bed kinda makes me cringe.
