body - Ice Dub claret
hackle - dyed claret (1 Tbs Rit Wine/1 cup water)
1st shoulder - pheasant rump dyed orange (1 Tbs Rit Sunshine Orange/1 cup water)
2nd shoulder - grizzly hen dyed Silver Doctor Blue (1 pack Koolaid Ice Blue Raspberry/1 cup water)

Here's that little "killing wisp" of a fly I mentioned in your thread. Starling spun on orange/black Pearsalls silk and palmered on a size 18 hook.

Soft Hackle

Hook - Wet fly style
Thread - Black
Ribbing - Tag end of tying thread
Body - Peacock herl
Hackle - Starling feather

Coat the hook shank with crazy glue prior to wrapping the peacock herl forward.
Reverse wrap with the tying thread tag end.

Fine gold wire may also be used as ribbing.

I fish this fly more than any other!
