What's in your vise?

A few that were very successful in a few trips to the beach last week. Headed out in the boat on South Sound Friday, so I just tied a bunch more up.

Foam backed shrimp on an SC-15 in sizes 4-6 in white always seems to work for me when fish are sipping or picky. I fish it on intermediate line, so it starts at the top, but is mid-column for most of the retrieve.

Picked up some on this unweighted baitfish pattern also.

The foam back shrimp is a popular pattern at Pyramid Lake. I caught a monster on one earlier this year.

Author's Note

This is a very affective Gaspe pattern that was originally made for fishing the Dartmouth River. Andre Belaieff invented it. Andre lived in the town of Gaspe for a time, were he ran a small fly shop. He has since left Gaspe but still fishes, guides and teaches on the Gaspe.
