What's in your vise?

If Lou is going to be fly fishing spoons next time we head out, I’m going to fly fish some spinners!

I tied these as a joke to respond to his text he sent with the spoon fly….but, I might give them a shot. I wouldn’t dare disrespect our majestic local SRC with these, but stocker brats in put and takes are fair game :). Short one might have some hookup issues with the long blade covering the hook point. The other should be fine though.

Gradually replacing my lost D trout box. All dries will NOT be tied by me!

I move to expel these two hooligans from PNWFF, or at a minimum, move these posts to the dirtbag fishing section...

There are people out there that honestly believe you're not "fly fishing" unless you're swinging a streamer with a greased line and a 15' rod in Scotland. "Phooey" says I. As a free-born American, I'll fish however I want (within the regulations) and call it whatever I want.

Do you have a rotary vice? I spin them while I hit them with the light. The spinning kind of levels out the epoxy.

Good idea. Not a true rotary but I can spin the head, old Regal. I’ll try that.
