If Lou is going to be fly fishing spoons next time we head out, I’m going to fly fish some spinners!

I tied these as a joke to respond to his text he sent with the spoon fly….but, I might give them a shot. I wouldn’t dare disrespect our majestic local SRC with these, but stocker brats in put and takes are fair game . Short one might have some hookup issues with the long blade covering the hook point. The other should be fine though.

I’m dragging you with me! I was 100% pure fly fishing for twenty years until you convinced me to try jigging for kings. Now I have 12 gear rods in the garage and I’m tying flies like this.
