Borrowed the back/head from Charlie Craven; probably a completely unnecessary step but it creates a neat shape. Never a big fan of the slit foam body attachment; the mono core, which came from the Carnage style flies I tie, creates a much more stable base for me.

hook - WFC Model 16 #6
thread - Uni 6/0 rusty brown
core - 20lb mono
body - 2mm foam peach/cream
saddle/head - 1mm foam tan
legs - medium rubber brown
indicator - 1mm foam orange

Thread - Black
Tail - Fluorescent orange calf tail hair
Body - Alternating white and black wool
Wing - White calf tail
Collar - Tan-brown hen hackle

The inventor of this fly, Robert Veilleux from Beauce, uses it for trolling in the ZEC Jarro and assures us that it only catches large trout.
