When I saw the Black Pennell, speyflyfisher posted on the bamboo thread, I knew that pattern would catch fish. So I made a few with what materials I could dig up.

The other is an un-named thing I use when the fish are sipping the lake surface. I use my type-3, sunk a couple of feet down and drag through the activity. Works pretty well.
