Heron of some variety, not from North America. Blue eared pheasant is similar, and ring neck pheasant rump is a reasonable alternative.

What I have fished has almost never been fouled when checked.

Madam X (variation)

Added an underwing and made it a full bullethead. Tips on this deer hair are way too long/skinny but the stuff spins like a top; makes crummy Muddler collars but great heads.
