thread - SemperFli 8/0 hot orange
tail - indicator yarn fluoro orange
rib - small wire copper
body - Ice Dub pheasant tail
hackle - furnace/hot orange
shoulder - golden pheasant rump yellow
collar/head - deer hair

Haven't had too much issue with fouling. A squid very similar to the far right got torn up by a tuna on Mondays trip and wasn't tracking straight after.
 
Nice ties! I guarantee I would have those tails fouled around the hook with every cast. I'm consistent that way when it comes to ties where the wing is high like that. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Silverfly is obsessed with hook gap exposure in his ties (in my estimation/observation). His flies are pretty foul-free though, too, I think in large part because of his skill in shaping heads and applying goo of some sort (UV cure?), just enough which is a decent amount, to keep that wing/body flowing and foul free.

Firehole Sticks 718 all purpose, size 14. I really like these hooks but will have to find a replacement when I run out, because they went out of business.
Thanks! I love the 718s. I hadn’t thought to use them for spiders like the last couple you’ve posted. Good idea.
