What's in your vise?

Quick and dirty unweighted trouty streamers along with a bully/tiger fly built up on my more recent platform. That one is headed to a member for bully (maybe even laker) use, while the trouty ones will likely get wet on Sunday.

My latest likely failure of innovation. The wiggle chironomid. Live chironomids in throat sample seem awfully lively and wriggly to me I thought it might work. Untested as of yet.

Rich - a similar technique in tying but in this case meant to represent two midges ........... so far this experiment hasn't led to a hookup (but it should).

Rich please let us know how this works for you.

How did you make the articulation for this fly?

@Buzzy very very cool idea also. What pound mono did you use a connector?

Thanks in advance.

Bob -
Since I tied these up sometimes last year (or maybe the year before?), I don't remember but looking at the bugs with mu Optivisor I'd say "4X". I need to fish these again........./Pat

I use 12# maxima chameleon for the connection on smallish trout flies. Mainly because I have some and it works well enough.
