I watched @Starman77 hook three fish on what seemed like three consecutive casts; he was using a muskrat nymph (https://pnwflyfishing.com/forum/index.php?attachments/muskrat-nymph-jpg.144559/) so I thought I'd tie up a few. Of course I don't have any muskrat fur, I forgot a rib on one (is a rib necessary (or mandatory)?), crowded the head on a couple, mismatched tail material.

Never cared for the original because of the tenuous body to hook attachment; using the mono core from the Carnage provides a much more solid base. Change colors to suit your needs.
