I love the sparseness of that, a lot a damsel nymphs are ways over dressed imo. Did you try a dry? With that size of a hatch, a dry mating damsel should work too. Anyway, awesomevery cool shot of the bugs on your net - can't wait to get out there!
My dry damsel game is weak. I tried one several times to active fish but nadaI love the sparseness of that, a lot a damsel nymphs are ways over dressed imo. Du you try a dry? With that size of a hatch, a dry mating damsel should work too. Anyway, awesome

I love damsels; always fun when they decide you're their "tall thing to molt on" and you end up covered in 'em!When you see these...

Yes, very observant of you. Phil twists the tail maribou into a rope then adds a drop of resin. Watch the end of the Lion's Mane vid. He sez it gives the tail another pivot point...but it also keeps the 'bou fibers together like a skinny nymph tail instead of all waving around seperately.is that a dab of epoxy on the tail midway?

Looks like an awesome outingOnce again, Parachute Adam's consistently brought me fish daily. Tried 4 different nymphs, half dozen other dry’s. A stimulater gave me one fish.
Warm, sunny. Best fishing was 5-9 at night when the sun was off the water.

Actually we just found the place last weekend on a scouting trip. I spent 3 hours one morning working my way up the flat fishing. Nothing was taking. One fish humiliated me as I left a hole by rolling on the surface taking something. Nothing in the air, rocks, etc. was a crap shoot until I tried Adams.Looks like an awesome outing. wish we had waters like that in my area

The 7 foot 3 weight S-glass rod I bought from @Wetswinger was a joy on this water. You build a nice rod, sir!I finally got out for the first time in a long time today. It felt great! The last time I fished a stream was on the way back from the first annual swap meet.
This wee snowshoe muddler got a handful of small cutts. I didn't get pictures of the 4-6 inch fish cause I was dog wrangling and only have two hands.
Rigby did great on and off leash. He went a bit too far from me a couple times but he came when I whistled. He learned how to cross streams and what a current can do. I tired him out
Saw a dead snek.
