I caught one out of the main Stilly below the Bridge in Silvana. On worms no less. It came in like a log. No fight at all I released it back into the river. This was one hell of a long time ago.

I don't think the Seattle Times bears responsibility in this case, other than taking money for the ad space from the forestry trade association that is responsible for the ad. That group probably hired an advertising/design firm to make the ad, and some designer somewhere searched for free or really cheap pictures of "salmon," and there ya go.
