What rivers to avoid

Hi, me and my friend are relatively new to fly fishing and mostly fish in our home river the spokane, but we’re looking to do a couple day camp and trout trip in a week or two. we’re thinking of heading into the cascades maybe but we’re unsure as to what rivers fish poorly or are dangerous this time of year. Thinking about the yakima as well or northern idaho but we’re mostly looking for advice as no goes in terms of rivers to limit the search a little bit. Not looking for any secret spots but general advice would be appreciated.

I can’t think of any. If they have water and are open to fishing, go fish.

Personally, I don't like wade fishing most of the yak during summer due to the high flows for irrigation, but to each their own.

Maybe this is a bit "familiarity breeds contempt" but from Spokane, my first choice of travel would not be west.
