What podcasts are everyone listening to? They don’t have to be fishing related, but there’s definitely a few of those that are good.
I listen to mostly comedy podcasts, but here’s what’s in my weekly rotation.
Comedy Bang Bang- Hosted by Scott Aukerman, this is an improv interview show that features up to 3 guests who are all playing characters and being interviewed by Scott. It’s been one of my favorite shows for about 8 years.
Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast(and the Thursday Afternoon Just Before Friday)- This is Comedian Bill Burr rambling by himself, and occasionally having a guest on Thursday. If you have Netflix and have never heard of him, go watch his specials. In my opinion he’s one of the greatest comics of all time.
Tuesdays with Stories- Comedians Joe List and Mark Normand riff back and forth and talk stories from their week of doing shows around the country. Both are really great comics, and I highly suggest watching all of their material.
Star Wars Minute- Pete the Retailer and Alex Robinson break down each Star Wars movie minute by minute. I realize this sounds somewhat boring, but if you’re a soft core to hardcore Star Wars fan, I’m 95% sure you’ll love it.
Wet Fly Swing- I’m sure a lot of you listen to this. Dave has a pretty good thing going, and he gets better at interviews with every episode. Great fly fishing show.
Sound of Hockey- Seattle Kraken/Hockey show hosted by 3 Hockey writers. If you’re a fan of the Kraken, I highly recommend this.
PuckOff!- NHL/Hockey show hosted by comedian Joe Bartnick, comedian and radio legend Frazer Smith, and Andy Picarro.
(I like hockey)
Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History- This is basically an audiobook. Each episode is at least 3 hours long, talking about a specific event in human history. He has a couple singular episodes, but most are 4-6 episode series. This is highly recommended.
