Norton used to toss out his speel to audiences that they could get his lps in cut-out bins at Kmart. He once referred to me as his sketch monster… when he signed my sketch book. After he passed away i located his son and sent sketches to him… Norton is the most incredible harmonica player I ever experiences. So beautiful that i shed tears.

Norton Buffalo played the harmonica on Bonnie Raitt's version of "Runaway". He famously switched between four different harmonicas (F, Eb, Db, and C) during his solo to match the song's key changes. This intricate solo is a highlight of the song and has been praised by many music publications
