I can't remember how many artists I've heard record versions of Conceirto de Aranjuez. I like to think Rodrigo would be pleased to see how many artists have composed variations. Here's one that's popped up on Pandora:

Seems like every month, another performer from my childhood passes away. One of the first records I remember hearing was "Puff the Magic Dragon". This one's geared a little more to adult tastes. RIP, Peter Yarrow.

When Norton with Roy or not Norton lit up a place made people happy

I recall one of the times I saw Norton play in Portland. Packed venue, the name I forget. I noticed a Willamette Week reporter was there that I recognized. The place was hoppin’ people amassed out in the dance floor area . The reporter was turning looking at the sea of people having a great time. He had a big smile on his face as he jotted down thoughts. It was an astounding night. The article and review captured the night perfectly emphasizing the incredible wonder named Norton Buffalo!
