What are you listening to?

I should add that I am an old man at 65, and so out of the key buying demographic.
My nieces and nephews in their 20-30's are mostly streamers, but fairly mainstream in their tastes, so mostly radio type stuff. I think a lot depends on the genre, alt stuff is consumed differently than pop I have found.

Good luck with your album, whichever way you go with the release.

Band camp and Nugs for me.

I’m still CD’s and vinyl, and a little YouTube. I don’t buy much these days, but when I do I will buy directly from the artist, if they don’t offer direct sales I will go to my local record store.
One of my favorite examples
Another one of his projects

Saw 3 Inches of Blood in Seattle last night! First US show in over a decade. This band is in my top 3 metal bands of all time.

For you guitar nerds I watched an interview of Jonathan Stout a premier player of the 30s-40s swing solo guitar by Norman Harris of "Norman's Rare Guitars". Harris wanted Stout to demo a the "Guitar of the Day"; a beautiful 1951 Stromberg Master 400 19"(!) acoustic archtop. I can't find this particular Norman's listing but some quick research revealed the asking price could be as high as $75,000(!) but $39K(!) might be a more realistic price for this very fine instrument.

At the end of interview, Stout reveals he started out in the 1990s playing Metal & Grunge. IMHO a great change of style!!

Could be the recording technique/mic but I have have to admit I like the mellower tone of his 1932 Gibson L-5 better (going price of these are ~$19,000!).

My goodness! One more of Jonathan Stout and His Campus Five band.
What a crowd!

Krontonamo just dropped our first album! Bandcamp first; Spotify when I get around to it. I'm lead guitar on songs with leads, backup vocals, and lead vocals on Vicodin Valley.

If you don't like the Ramones, Motörhead, or obnoxious punk/hardcore/rock, feel free to skip.

Roger Fisher, the lead guitarist from Heart pre-1980, and Krist Novoselic of Nirvana had their respective modern bands playing an outdoor show in downtown Aberdeen tonight/Friday. It was well attended and pretty decent.

Fisher and Heart playing to a wee bit bigger crowd than tonight back in 1978.

This thread is so long. Just in Florida and what I liked was the Eagles and Steely Dan. Just smooth and great music besides some good lyrics. To be honest a bit of red hot chilli peppers thrown in was a-ok too. I needed some Floridafication ….: 😜
