Just got back from a performance by the band tu-NER (Markus Reuter, Trey Gunn, Pat Mastellotto), if instrumental music is your bag, can't go wrong here. A superb mix of deep cuts, some KC songs and improvs.
While there, caught a flier advertising a Soft Machine gig in late June. Throw in The Aristocrats in August and that's some serious guitar music coming my way.

Interesting to note that the band knew they were finished when they took the stage for that gig.
As for the laugh-until-you-cry emoji, it's the sadness for the loss too early of shining lights like Rory and SRV.
Listening to the radio...something I rarely do.

It can be spotty at times, but often plays stuff from newer artists in that old school soul/R and Band Stax/Volt type vibe that I like.
But like all radio, it's hit and miss.
So far its ok today.

Randy is now 80 years old and touring solo in Canada.
The band broke up due to internal dissension. Rather like John Fogerty and Creedence, the other players felt their roles were becoming diminished.
