Well, for the record, it was from 2001's Ancient Melodies of the Future.

And I see your point. But I also think it's one of those things we all go through. Music that it feels like we heard for the first time yesterday is suddenly 20-30-40 years old. It's a surprise. 36 Chambers came out in 1993. Nevermind came out in 1991. It goes on and on...

Yeah in 2001 dad died and I was 48 and had just lost my career of 22 years post 9-11 economic chaos. So yeah … after that it was a wth at 66 and retirement. Reflection is good as long as we don’t dwell there.

For me the event was in a downtown Portland Meier and Frank elevator…Elevator music playing on way to the 5th floor. It was Iggy Pop’ Lust for Life… it was just wrong I tell ya!
 
Stickfigure, Set In Stone. Favorite on it is In This Love. Kind of a reggae. Makes me feel like I am in the Bahamas...

Funny that. My " I'm too old for this sh***" phase started at age 25..
