What Are You Eating?

My wife is on a short trip, so it was time to make clean out the fridge/freezer chili…linguica, garlic sausage, guanciale, bacon & pork shoulder…
What, and you didn't invite any of us over? That's a pot of some delicious looking goodness!

Looks like clam chowder to me!

Clam chowder! I posted the recipe for it in the salmon chowder thread! It was delicious!

Drunken Noodles, 3 star at a close Thai restaurant Silver Spoon! Delicious! It had another name and I can't recall the name. The noodles, handmade broad noodles and sauce were delicious! No leftovers made it home!20260403_175450.jpg

Had a hankerin' for a green curry, as it's been a minute since that spicy fragrant elixir has graced my cook top.

A can of coconut milk, 5tbsp of good green curry paste (didn't have time to make the usual from scratch), another cup of water after the bubbles started. A little fish sauce, some palm sugar, then the main event. A couple pounds of pork, some mushrooms, a few carrots, some celery, a red bell pepper, a yellow onion, and some tatsoi stems. Let all that do its thing in the spicy green goodness, then the final pitch - an entire tatsoi bunch (leaves only, chopped), an entire thai basil plant, a shitpile of cilantro, 6 scallions, a gigantic garlic clove and a big honkin' ginger knob.
Gonna be some good eatin' at the estate the whole weekend.

Peace, y'all
