I'll try it, as I have read there is a difference in the taste and have a Trader Joe's down in Redmond. Cheers!

Now you're going all "Brute" on us and laying out the ingredients all picturesque. Actually I like that, even if I'll never make anything of the sort.

Last night we had our postponed New Year's Eve dinner party. I'm predictable if nothing else, but they all say they like it. Costco applewood smoked ham and scalloped potatoes. One of the "girls" (we're all over 70, except Mrs. Salmo) brought a green salad, and another brought a cobbler. And they all brought wine, so a good time was had. One couple even stayed until almost 10:30!

I'm glad you approve 😉 I prefer ham to turkey or even some beef roasts for holiday celebrations. So much so that I've cured and smoked my own a few times.

Sunday I'd smoked 3 racks of ribs. Dinner guests ghosted us so theres been lots of left overs. Lunch has been smoked rib nachos deluxe for the past 2 days.

Prepped the remainder this evening (deboned) along with cubing a large potato and half a small white onion for Friday morning hash.

Last time those guys get invited.....
 
Someone get ahold of someone at TILLAMOOK that they need to RUMOVE THE PRALINES!!! its always these PRALINES!!! Get them out of there!! Out of the ICE CREAM
