Cumin seeds & blk peppercorns , toasted and crushed in the mortar…add 1 Tbsp each powdered garlic & onion, dried oregano, smoked paprika, coarse sea salt
Try smoking razor clams...

Any Wok Masters out there? As I begin retirement I want to begin cooking in a wok. If you have any great recipes or ideas on how to get started please let me know.
Ideally you can use gas with a wok. Electric can be okay but it ain’t the same.
Woks are versatile and can be used for lots of things (tempura/deep frying, shallow pan frying) but may be best for stir frying. That’s usually a bunch of prep, then like 5-10 minutes of exciting cooking action and then it’s time to eat.
