The Scandahoovians do know how to put a new twist on a sushi dinner. Probably a good preparation for a couple weeks of meals with reindeer as the primary protein source.

Just back from some business in Singapore, took the opp to have chilli crab, mud crab is great eats but omfg what a mess. Not a meal for a first date if you want to appear ‘sophisticated’, full hands and face on…

Looking forward to some home cooked food myself, after 4 weeks away. Not that this was bad (it was amazing), but I can’t eat a huge patty melt with cheese fries, fried okra and half-and-half iced tea all the time.
They were on the menu but not in season. Sez I. The pickle is green and I figured that’s good enough.Phew…….for a minute there I thought you had a side of hush puppies going on….then I caught the fried okra part.

How do you prepare cattail flower heads?Getting as much harvested food as we can on a plate. Albacore, zhoug, cattail flower heads, new potatoes and mustard greens.
