What Are You Eating?

A Smoked Meatloaf Sandwich is the bomb.
To be honest, a meatloaf sandwich in general is one of my favorite things in the world.
 
There's possibilities with a Carpetbagger Poorboy variant here.
Replace the sliced sirloin with smoked meatloaf, fried oysters with smoked ones, still use the celery an cabbage, even the remoulade sauce.

I’m having a bowl of rice and ahi poke for breakfast. I’ve still got a bunch of tuna from the trip on Monday to eat and we head out of here tomorrow!
We had poached egg miso shiro with ochazuke for breakfast. I grilled some coho from the freezer for dinner last night, crumbled up the leftovers for the rice dish this morning.

I had to look up what ochazuke was. Sounds great! Is the poached egg marinated in miso shiro or is that just the broth for the rice? I read that green tea can be used for ochazuke which sounds very interesting.

My wife poached the eggs and added them to the soup. We use furikake and nori on the rice and then pour green tea into the bowl. We love having this for breakfast - sometimes I'll get up early and grill a piece of salmon (or trout) then flake it up for the bowl. It's really tasty and certainly a bit more healthy than sausage gravy (Doggy Barf in the Navy, but oh so tasty).

That sounds amazing! We had some good stuff for lunch. I ordered ceviche mixto. Hopefully I’m not overdoing it on the raw fish. Guess I’ll find out tomorrow!
Mi esposa got fried shrimp and chips (was great) and the kids a Hawaiian pizza. All legit!
