Grilled burgers, mozzarella tomato and basil salad, twice baked potatoes, and more with my dad for an early Father's Day dinner. My son is in the picture, too, and my wife and daughter are out of the frame. I feel very lucky! Dad has Parkinson's and dementia, but still knows all of us and enjoys life. I'm cherishing that time (or trying to) while it lasts.

Bolognese sauce, Marcella Hazan recipe with some additions, a 5 hour cook.
Nice Chianti...good on a rainy June day.

Steelhead seared steam blanched coveredwith fresh lemon squeeze, a bitof tarragon onion salt and paprika… 5 minutes done grom sticking it inahot pan 2 tbsp of butter sear vidalis onions in a second pan for a few minutes and purple asparagus sear a couple minutes , 1/8 cup water lid on and turn off burner, ten minute dinner… a favorite now, the sprinkles of tarragon is the shit! Justa pinch on eachof the 4 filleted equal portioned sections
 
Surf (salmon) and turf (degreased spit-roasted lamb stock prepped into lentil/curry/merken/lamb stew) from weekend adventures.
