What are you drinking?

Uinta Cutthroat Pale Ale and water tonight. I think it was the first beer I had in Utah, and it will probably be the one I have on my way out. It tastes like a pale ale should.

Also, what's the deal with people depicting trout leaping to grab flies? I've never had that happen? Has anyone??

Interesting Spanish varietal, one we liked last night.
Medium body, good tannins, bright red fruits, wet stones.
Very good QPR here at 14 bucks. I took a flyer on this and got 6 online having never tried it before, am glad I did.
Food friendly.

Certainly not bad, just not great either
Always on the fence with this one, but we like it well enough, second half of the bottle is best.
4 hour decant helps
Was good with venison steaks.
;)

I know just about nothing about wine. If you can drink enough of it, it can get you drunk. That's about all I know about wine. Same thing about beer. Drink enough of it and you can be up all night peeing. Space it out and you won't get drunk. Just pee a lot.

@flybill please tell me you got her # and a future trip report is in the making?

As for drinks, I have been enjoying some apple pie moonshine
I did get her card! She's a model and was repping the brand! Might have to see if she can come to the shop I work in and do a tasting for us.. I love it when a plan comes together!

I'm mostly an IPA and bourbon guy but pretty Scotch curious. My problem with Scotch is it's so damn expensive and I've been underwhelmed by numerous bottles that cost significantly more than some of my go to bourbons. Would love some recommendations for a couple bottles of solid "everyday drinkers" that don't break the bank (realizing a decent Scotch will be more expensive than a decent bourbon).

The Macallan 12 year (available at Costco) is a stand-by for me with a significantly lower price point than Lagavulin. Also the Talisker 10 year (if you like the peppery bite).

What’s the shelf price on that at Costco? I remember it being pretty steep at Total Wine and More. I’ve had it recommended a few times though so I should probably buy a bottle.

She is cute, with some support she won't be tucking her boobs in her waistband at the ripe old age of 40.

Good luck.....she is right in your wheelhouse. Lol.
