What about that weather?

US90 and Route 2 passes closed:
A billion three hundred million dollars WSDOT has spent improving the 15 mile stretch of I-90 across the pass. The freeway is awesome, but it seems as if with all this money spent there are more closures any more than there used to be with the snowshed and narrow winding freeway. Unscientific opinion and observation on my part.

US2 is another story and can be very dangerous during and following a big snowstorm.

Back to fishing; I hope the passes don't prevent anglers from travel.

I-84 is wide open, and Hwy-14 on the Washington side if you're not in a hurry. A couple good lakes to fish too...

Not that it matters to anyone but me, however

Was 70 degrees a week ago since then it has snowed about 4 inches and we are expecting another 6 in the next two days.
Pueblo reservoir is nearly full with plenty of snow in the mountains and monsoon season on the horizon. Should be a Good year for southeast Colorado.

I only had my guides ice up once today after the sun came up.

The heaviest snows I ever experienced in Colorado in the 28 years that I lived there were during March and September.
