Jesus likes my impulse better! My first impulse would be to ask if he gave a hand before snapping a pic.![]()
I did just that. He turned me down and also turned down offers from two others. I don't know what they told him, but I offered to load that plywood in my truck and drive to his house. He mentioned that he had 100' of rope and as I ate my lunch watching him I think he was determined to use it all.My first impulse would be to offer a lending hand! Not snap pics.
You are a good man sir!I did just that. He turned me down and also turned down offers from two others. Have known a few AF loadmasters over the years. They would have never allowed that to happen. That "may" qualify as an unsecured load, which would risk a few hundred dollars ticket, or a few thousands and even jail time in case of property damage...hope he mande it home! Worse mistakes were made tying stuff up, saving distances and magnitude of risk, it reminds me of an episode of Mayday I watched recently, the one about the crash of the transport 747 in Bragram Airfield due to improper use of straps and tie downs and resulting shifting cargo, cause of crash explained at 39 mins 25 secs of the video below:
