Ween opened for my band ca. 1988, just Gene and Dean and a drum machine. As a drummer, I really dislike like drum machines (outside of more dancey music / hip hop) and wrote them off for years. It took a long time for me to shake that initial bad impression, rediscovered them 20 years later.

At least drum machines don't drool all the time or have to be late to practice because they had pizzas to deliver.

One of our guitarorrists was the pizza guy, and he’d often bring one to practice. I can own the drooling.

Love Ween! Seen many shows over the years. Always a fun, weird vibe, and you always get your money's worth (and a lot more back when their shows were $10 in the mid-90s).

I love the diversity of their music. They can pull off just about any style. Never get boring.
