Washington Fly Fishing stole the salmon

Hey Don. Looks like WFF is still using the original WFF logo. The new PNW logo is similar in also using a stylized variant on NW indigenous art design, but they aren't the same logos. Close but no cigar!

Hard for me to look at it as we "stole" anything.

They purchased a forum, not its membership. They still own the forum. The members simply moved on. Such is the nature of such things. Honestly they can't truly be surprised, given the level of effort they have displayed towards maintaining the place to the level it once was. Spinning rod lol.

No different than if the Musk deal went through and suddenly every single Twitter user decided to simply leave the platform and go elsewhere. Musk would still own what he purchased, just wouldn't be worth much. That's the risk taken when such a purchase takes place.

Virtucon stole from us. Let's not forget that. Besides, some men cannot be owned. Those men are on pnwflyfishing.com.

Yes we have ladies that cannot be owned as well but it didn't sound as cinematic to say so in the same line.

I just noticed they changed their layout and I have to sign in differently now. Not much traffic over there now.

The members are just going through "shock and awe" right now. Shock to the changes that made the site very hard to use and in awe of what it is to interface with a platform like PNWFF that is built for and by the community that is easy to use. As someone said above (paraphrasing) when changes are made for the good of all, it builds a community for all. That is what we have here!

I found this picture in the archives of the old site of @Old Man from around 1955:

OMJ - the OG cool kid!
What was I doing in 1955. Oh yeah. I was in the US Army and stationed in Greenland. And I was only 20 years young. Just think, that was 67 years ago. But I never looked that good.

Well, I dug around the archives a little more and found this shot of you from later that year (it would be hard to look good in that outfit :) ):

And just think, you beat @swimmy to the puffy look by 50 years!
