Probably 8lb or so. As if fighting a big fish.
I think we could collectively make that happen.

I don’t think so. I am not on the ‘gram, but I do subscribe to a number of YouTube channels. Shore Lunch with Nate P might be my favorite one.

Yeah, They say that the 0-30 is something like 1.5 seconds. Better than a tesla. It’s much too easy to spin the wheels and burn rubber if you are used to a slow old dinosaur burner
Sorry for the to do about nothing, but I couldn’t get an extension on the loan of the review copy so I/we won’t be vehicle testing the drag and durability of the Lamson Hyperspeed M8.
It is, however, an interesting reel. Ridiculously huge arbor, less than 7oz (which is why I wanted to test its durability).
Wish the thought had occurred to me sooner, so next reel I review we’ll do the torture test first.

I'm down if we can work it out schedule wise. Seems like every time I do anything fun in my truck it becomes a national news story, so might as well do it again...

While the Cybertruck would likely be more compelling as it's cutting edge tech versus cutting edge tech. But oh the bike I could jump, dart, and thrash giving a more life-like test with a wonderful exhaust note to satisfy more traditional perspective buyers. I mean the click pawl guys won't even understand it's happening with that Lamson whispering in despair and the Cybertruck quietly melting it down.
I'm in Moses Lake. I'm pretty busy this week, and I'm headed on vacation Sunday and won't get back until July 4. Could work out some time between July 5 and 14.
