Good question.I broke my old but well loved Echo rod, and per their (what I consider to be) reasonable policy, for $50 they sent me a new rod.
Now, I have a rod that is broken 5 inches from the tip but the rest of the sections are fine. Any of you come up with uses for broken rods?
Yes, out of production; it was their first production rod. I’ve had a lot of rods since then, but that one had a special place in my heart. Weird to have a fly rod in my heart, I know, but that one for some reason was always my gamer.Is your Echo out of prodcution? Echo offers replacement tips for many of their rods (I have spare tips for three of my four Echo rods.
