Yeah RT is for traitors, it's Pravda for all intents.

Put Russia into perspective...it's economy is roughly the same size as Texas, the vast majority of it's wealth is controlled by plutocrats who don't pay tax's they instead line Putins pockets, the average wage in country is $16,000 a year, 90% of their military force is comprised of conscripted 18-27 year olds serving mandated service that receive piss poor training and are using decades old arms and armor. Why would Putin puts his forces on nuke alert today? Because his invasion is stalling, the Ukraine has captured hundreds of Russian prisoners, and the world is responding exactly opposite of how he calculated it would. At this point Putin will likely negotiate for a chunk of eastern Ukraine that is already pro-Russian, claiming victory, whereas in reality he has only shown the world just how weak Russia's ground forces and economy actually are.
Russia is a dangerous pest, China is our true global adversary.

Is anyone else surprised at the condition of the Russian equipment? Looks old and outdated. In my head I was expecting top of the line brand new stuff. No wonder they are having supple chain issues.

You let us believe in the Ghost of Kyiv😃😃😃
I’m surprised too. There are times when I think something is weird with the whole thing. I have a hard time believing the invading Russians are running out of gas and food, getting lost…

Play stupid games win stupid prizes. The only thing better than expelling Russia from Ukraine would be to drive them back fifty miles into Russia and take it as a safe zone. Putin should lose something in this gamble other than simply being pushed out.

I knew it, my people started this shit…fucking Vikings.

“Ukraine and Russia go back to Kievan Rus, a medieval Viking federation that ruled first from Novgorod to the north, and then from Kyiv. Its territory included what is now Ukraine, Belarus and part of Russia. Kievan Rus meant “the land of the Rus”. The word “Russia” derives from Rus. In the 9th century CE, Norsemen, primarily Rus from Roslagen in eastern coastal Sweden, arrived in Novgorod, either as a response to a call for help or as raiding parties. One of them, Rurik I, established the Rurikid dynasty in Novgorod. Kyiv was taken by Oleg of Novgorod — (readers who have watched the TV series “Vikings” will remember Oleg the Prophet) — Rurik’s successor. This dynasty would rule for more than 700 years, right down to Ivan the Terrible, first Czar of Russia, in the 16th century. In between, the Mongol invasion of 1237-1242 splintered Kievan Rus. Rus, according to another theory, also means “people wh o rowed”.

An academician I've worked with in the Ukraine pointed out: "there is an archeological dig in a bluff on the Dnieper River in Kiev that dates back to 500BC....this means Ukraine has had people in organized dwellings for at least 2500 years, in those 2500 years it has been the Ukraine only 500!"

Everyone has taken a shot at Ukraine...I was told Odessa is the most occupied city in history...being on the path between the Middle East, Asia and Europe is tough.

My post was mostly tic. The Vikings screwed with most of the civilized world during their reign and could be blamed for a lot of stuff.

I figured that it was...by the way normally a Ukrainian is pretty quick to point out that the red haired Ukrainians are descendants of the Ghengis Kahn occupation!

Putin's ego has lead him to blunder into a classic Thucydides trap and the Ukrainian Thrasybulus has been unleashed. Putin still doesn't understand that real power and influence can't be measured exclusively in number of tanks, nukes, and petroleum reserves. He has nothing positive to offer ideologically or economically, just servitude. China is noting his weakness, funny how he is blind to that threat.

It’s time for the Vikings to make a comeback, they have agents patiently waiting around the world waiting for the signal from Odin

China will drop support for Putin and Russia like a bad habit if they perceive its in their long term interest. They can always side with whoever the new leader is in Russia down the road, should events unfold that way.
I'm just hoping we just fast forward to the part where he shoots himself in his bunker... as the saying goes.

Countries don't friends...they have interests. Stalin and Hitler were 'friends', until they weren't.

I was always amused by American cities having 'sister cities' in foreign countries. Spokane has 5 or 6 of them. Nothing more than travel junket bullshit for two-bit politicians.
