Well we did it. We made it 10 straight years. 10 straight early-ish season runs at this scenic central WA lake.
We found the fishing to be steady if on the slow side. It also seemed like smaller flies might be the ticket. The fish in this lake seem to excel at the short-strike. Give em something to commit to before they can think about it too much.
No snakes were seen, there was actual sun overhead, mid 30s at night for good sleeping, and a blinding full moon to cap it all off. Oh and a career first tiger trout at dusk.
