After a weekend running up and down the deschutes access road, I got home and found that my trailer roller had shifted off the bearing. WTF.
I think part of the problem is that the rear bunk rotted out, so the boat was resting on the roller banging up the road. I’ll need to replace that as well.
My plan is to
- pop the boat off the trailer
- replace the bunks with trex
- shift the roller back on the bearing
Anything else I should be thinking about? Besides getting a new trailer?
On the bright side, I’ll have something for the what have you done for your boat thread….

Right side (ignore the 2x4)
