NFR Today is World Toilet Day!!

Non-fishing related
Prefect timing, I just cleaned our toilet/restroom. I recommend soft scrub with bleach for the bowl.

People rest in there often?

I have always called it a washroom.

Is it a west/east coast thing?

Maybe i haven't paid enough attention to what people call it.

I prefer the way the French and Japanese do it - toilet is in its own room. The bath/shower in another room. Brilliant.

At my place of business. I like to clean the restroom. Shows the employees your down to earth. One of the people.

I agree.

When I went to China I was shocked. The public restrooms in China are deplorable. No privacy, just long open, ground level troughs...

Since we can't get a house I'm thinking of building a yurt with a humanure outhouse and wood stove heating.

Oh, by all means! The original outhouse at Camp Runamuck sat neatly against a steep hill forested by huge old maples. Talk about sitting on a throne.
Probably not at Camp Runamuck, but, close, sat on a box on a ridge with a nice view of the valley floor below.
